Breakfast @ Mc Donald

This story was shared to me by my friend and I wan't to this on blog because I want also that some of my can read and think about it.

A
Return is Requested....You'll see
why.

Breakfast
at McDonald's

This
is a good story and is true, please read it all
the way through until the end! (After the story,
there are some very interesting
facts!):

I
am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have
recently completed my college
degree.

The
last class I had to take was
Sociology.

The
teacher was absolutely inspiring with the
qualities that I wish every human being had been
graced with.

Her
last project of the term was called,
'Smile.'

The
class was asked to go out and smile at three
people and document their
reactions.

I
am a very friendly person and always smile at
everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought
this would be a piece of
cake,

literally.

Soon
after we were assigned the project, my husband,
youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one
crisp March morning.

It
was just our way of sharing special playtime
with our son.

We
were standing in line, waiting to be served,
when all of a sudden everyone around us began to
back away, and then

even
my husband did.

I
did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling
of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to
see why they had moved.

As
I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty
body' smell, and there standing behind me were
two poor homeless men.

As
I looked down at the short gentleman, close to
me, he was 'smiling'

His
beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light
as he searched for
acceptance.

He
said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he
had been clutching.

The
second man fumbled with his hands as he stood
behind his friend. I realized the second man was
mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman
was his salvation.

I
held my tears as I stood there with
them.

The
young lady at the counter asked him what they
wanted.

He
said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all
they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the
restaurant and warm up, they had to buy
something. He just wanted to be
warm).

Then
I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I
almost reached out and embraced the little man
with the blue eyes.

That
is when I noticed all eyes in the

restaurant were set on me,
judging

my
every action.

I
smiled and asked the young lady behind the
counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a
separate tray.

I
then walked around the corner to the table that
the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the
tray on the table and laid my hand on the
blue-eyed gentleman's cold
hand.

He
looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and
said, 'Thank you.'

I
leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I
did not do this for you. God is here working
through me to give you hope.'

I
started to cry as I walked away to join my
husband and son. When I sat down my husband
smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you
to me, Honey, to give me
hope..'

We
held hands for a moment and at that time, we
knew that only because of the Grace that we had
been given were we able to give.

We
are not church goers, but we are
believers.

That
day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet
love.

I
returned to college, on the last evening of
class, with this story in
hand.

I
turned in 'my project' and the instructor read
it.

Then
she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share
this?'

I
slowly nodded as she got the attention of the
class.

She
began to read and that is when I knew that we as
human beings and being part of God share this
need to heal people and to be
healed.

In
my own way I had touched the people at
McDonald's, my son,the instructor, and every
soul that shared the classroom on the last night
I spent as a college student.

I
graduated with one of the biggest lessons I
would ever learn:

UNCONDITIONAL
ACCEPTANCE.

Much
love and compassion is sent to each and every
person who may read this and learn how to

LOVE
PEOPLE AND USE THINGS -

NOT LOVE THINGS
AND USE PEOPLE.

There
is an Angel sent to watch over
you.

In
order for her to work, you must pass this on to
the people you want watched
over.

An
Angel wrote:

Many
people will walk in and out of your life, but
only true friends will leave footprints in your
heart

To
handle yourself, use your
head..

To
handle others, use your
heart.

God
Gives every bird it's food, but He does not
throw it into its nest.

Send
it back, you'll see why !

Glass of Milk

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water! She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?'

You don't owe me anything,' she replied. 'Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.' He said 'Then I thank you from my heart.'

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many years later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case. After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it then wrote something on the edge, and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all.

Finally she looked and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words .. 'Paid in full with one glass of milk' (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: 'Thank You, God, that your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands.'

There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the water comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?

Now you have two choices:

1. You can send this page on and spread a positive message.

2. Or ignore it and pretend it never touched your heart.

The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which to burn.

modern invention: Cell Phones

A few days ago, a person was recharging his mobile phone at home.

Just at that time a call came in and he answered it with the
Instrument still connected to the outlet.

After a few seconds electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained
and the young man was thrown to the ground with a heavy thud.

His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with
a weak heartbeat and burnt fingers.

He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Cell phones are a very useful modern invention.

However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death.

Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet!

A Story to live by

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was
blind. She hated
everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there
for her. She told
her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'

One day,
someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages
came off, she was able to see everything, including her
boyfriend.

He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you
marry me?' The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't
expected
that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to
her
saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for
before
they were yours, they were mine.'

This is how the human brain often works when our status
changes*.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a
Gift*

Today
before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who
can't speak.

Before
you complain about the taste of your food - Think of
someone
who has nothing to eat.

Before
you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today
before you complain about life - Think of someone who died
too early on this earth.

Before
you complain about your children - Think of someone who
desires children but they're barren...

Before
you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean
or
sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before
whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.

And when
you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your
job...

But
before you think of pointing the finger or condemning
another -* **Remember that not one of us is without sin*.

And when
depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still
around.

Too beautiful not to share........

...it goes on...
